ABOUT KATE.
Kate was born and raised in Chelmsford, Massachusetts on the east coast of the United States. She studied Fine Arts & Psychology at Stonehill College in Easton, MA.
She developed skills in web programming, graphic design and web marketing while working for a distribution firm in California for four years after graduation. Weeks led to months and months led to years. After the learning stopped and the 80 hour work weeks were no longer worth the salary, she up and moved to Paris to persue her real passion in photography.
An amazing year later she received her master's degree in photography from Speos Photographic Institue. She lived and worked in the biggest fashion, and arguably art, city on earth: Paris. Life is a series of discoveries and through shooting, editing and "fixing" photos, she discovered that her talents in graphic design + photos = a perfect match and q Retouching was born.
